Betting Insight: Week 16 Monday Night Football

The Colts pass defense just is not good. Ranked 31st in the league, they just gave up 113 yards, 87 yards, 98 yards, and 141 yards to WR1’s over their last four games. San Francisco should get real healthy through the air, but the problem is that they don’t really have a WR1. Most would call it George Kittle, others Christian McCaffrey out of the backfield, yet others rely on his connection with Jauan Jennings. I’m leaning George Kittle over 65.5 rec yards (1.5u). Kittle has covered this line in five straight games and I like it again here tonight.

ATD: Jauan Jennings (+140)

Longshot ATD: Ameer Abdullah (+650)

A couple more statistics worth mentioning tonight

  • Jennings has scored in three straight games, two TD in his last matchup

  • Taylor has had 120+ rush yards in three out of his last four home games

  • The 49ers defense is ranked 12th in the league, but just allowed 104 yards to Pollard and 91 to Judkins in back to back weeks. Granted these were mostly accumulated in garbage time, still worth noting. Philip Rivers is 44 - I have a ton of respect for this guy, but expect the Colts to lean on the run game unless it’s absolutely shut down.

Do with that what you will. Best of luck!
