Campbell went on to mention the many ways they can exploit mismatches using Jahmyr Gibbs as a receiver out of that formation. This hype train deserves to keep moving forward until it collides head-on with the regular season. "I believe he's a player we can trust this fall," said Ben Johnson regarding Monangai. Monangai has been gradually earning repetitions with the first team. As one of the most physically imposing running backs in this year's rookie class, his best qualities shine when he’s practicing in full pads. He demonstrates good acceleration and is tough to bring down. While he has performed well in running plays, his ability to excel in pass protection and pick up blitzes is even more critical. Additionally, Monangai's versatility in both gap and zone schemes makes him an all the more appealing option for Johnson to utilize on the field.
