3 running back reps over Lan Larison and rookies Jam Miller and Myles Montgomery in his return from the non-football injury list. And that came after Jennings was considered by the team as a spring standout. Ultimately, the preseason should settle the No. 3 running back job between Jennings, Larison, Miller and Montgomery, but Jennings is currently repping as the favorite. Miller is a player to watch, however.

For the second day in a row, Terrell Jennings was the Patriots’ clear No. 3 running back. On Tuesday, he was the first player to receive a handoff with the backup unit. On Wednesday, Jennings received multiple reps with Maye’s unit, playing behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson.
