The Dolphins rotated their tight ends more this week than they did last week.
Greg Dulcich played only 51. 3% of the offensive snaps with a 50% route participation rate. Rookie Will Kacmarek played more overall, logging 61. 5% of the offensive snaps, although his route participation rate was slightly lower at 45%. Dulcich remains the better fantasy option for now, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Kacmarek receive more opportunities as the season progresses.
Dulcich’s playing time was similar this week to the last two, playing the majority of early-down snaps in 11 personnel, the clear majority on third downs and 100% of the two-tight end sets. However, his route participation rate rose to 71.4% this week after failing to hit 60% the first two weeks.
