Miller had a spot cemented on the 53-man roster before Thursday night, but he could be convincing the coaches to get him the ball during

the regular season. Miller had three catches for 82 yards, including a 53-yarder when he got behind the defense with three seconds left before halftime to set up a field goal that tied the score at 10. Miller led all Steelers receivers with nine receptions for 167 yards in the preseason.
