The Panthers’ running back rotation this week was identical to last week, with Chuba Hubbard receiving the vast majority of the work and AJ
Dillon taking over when Hubbard needed a break.
This week, there was more rotation before Brooks’ injury. Most notable was Brooks taking the two -minute drill after Hubbard dominated that situation last week. Brooks also played a higher percentage of third-down snaps. This led Brooks to play 30.3% of snaps, which was up over 10% compared to last week. Excluding the fourth quarter, the split was 65%-35% in favor of Hubbard. Brooks only played one snap in the fourth quarter, with Hubbard taking the other seven early in the half. The Panthers again closed the game with a few snaps by AJ Dillon.
