I don’t know how the Bills can find a spot on their 53-man roster for a fourth tight end while keeping a fullback, but Latu has been
extremely impressive in his second summer with Buffalo. He made two outstanding catches during the stadium practice Saturday, one of which was a fully extended, diving contested grab with a defender draped all over him. It’s been a continuation of his entire summer. There’s a stronger case for Jenkins to make the 53-man roster at this point due to roster functionality, but with all the 12 and 13 personnel the Bills use, perhaps there’s a path for Latu in 2026.

It hasn’t been consistent, but, notably, Latu has taken a handful of snaps with quarterback Josh Allen. The Bills liked Latu as an undrafted rookie in 2025, and that’s carried over into this training camp. It will be tough to convince the Bills to keep four tight ends in 2026, but Latu hasn’t faded into the background of a talented group.
