Pavia is one of the more polarizing but fantasy-friendly quarterback profiles in this class.
The rushing production jumps out immediately. Over 3,000 career rushing yards tells you exactly how he wins and why the dynasty community is intrigued. He’s not just mobile, he’s a tough, high volume runner who will take hits and keep going. That kind of play style creates a built-in floor if he ever sees the field. As a passer, the numbers are better than people might expect. The interception rate and turnover worthy play rate are both solid, which points to a quarterback who generally takes care of the ball. On top of that, a high big-time throw rate shows he’s capable of creating explosive plays, not just checking it down. Where it gets interesting is how he processes the game. He’s regarded as a quick, effective decision-maker, which helps offset some of the physical limitations. The size concerns are real, but not in the typical “can’t see the field” sense—more about how he operates within tight windows and manages the middle of the field. The play style is what stands out most. He’s a grinder, willing to play through injuries and lean into contact as a runner. That competitiveness shows up on tape and is part of what gives him a chance to outperform expectations. There’s still volatility here. Smaller frame, heavy rushing usage, and questions about long-term durability or role all factor in. But if he lands in a situation where he gets snaps, the rushing alone gives him a path to usable fantasy production quickly, even if he’s not a polished passer yet.
