Love is expected to play through his new ankle injury after practicing all week and progressing to full participation Friday. That progression is reassuring and suggests the injury is not significantly limiting his movement. Ankle pain or instability can affect a runner’s ability to push off, cut quickly, and drive through contact, but Love’s practice participation gives me confidence he can remain effective. Our dataset shows almost no average decline in running back fantasy production after ankle injuries. Love should be in your lineup this week.
