Gabriel turned in what was arguably the best quarterback performance of the day outside of one costly mistake.
He showcased outstanding footwork from start to finish, consistently kept his eyes and feet in sync, played with excellent anticipation, and was accurate throughout the practice. Gabriel completed quality passes to Tylan Wallace, Cedric Tillman, Jamari Thrash, Brenden Bates, and Jack Stoll, while also delivering an excellent backside dig and an outstanding Cover 2 hole shot to Thrash. He made the most of every rep and looked in complete control of the offense for much of the session. The lone blemish came on an interception by Nathaniel Watson, who deserves credit for gaining outstanding depth underneath the route and making an excellent play on the ball. Even so, Gabriel will want to protect the football better in that situation. Aside from that one turnover, it was his strongest practice of training camp.

Green saw reps against the first team defense and turned in one of the more impressive quarterback performances of the day. He connected on a nice completion off a naked boot and followed it up with an outstanding speed out to Jamari Thrash that stood as the best throw made by any quarterback during the session. Green also showed improved balance in the pocket, better pre snap recognition, and did a good job identifying and attacking soft quarters coverage, allowing him to consistently make the right decisions. Green turned in a very impressive period, consistently moving the offense with accurate, on time throws. He completed passes to Cedric Tillman twice, Blake Whiteheart twice, Jalin Marshall, and Jamari Thrash, showing good command of the offense throughout the sequence. His best throw was a 12 yard speed out to Thrash against quarters coverage, where he delivered the ball with outstanding anticipation and timing before the receiver made his break, making it one of the top quarterback plays of the day.
