Concepcion suffered a head injury early in the game and was quickly ruled out.
In recent weeks, Denzel Boston and Concepcion have been the Browns' clear lead wide receivers, with Jerry Jeudy a distant third option. Last week, Jeudy lost some time to Malachi Corley. Cleveland followed the same pattern this week, with Concepcion playing 11 of the first 12 snaps before exiting with injury. Jeudy played nine of 15 snaps over the first two drives, with Corley playing four. After the injury, Jeudy's and Corley’s rotation went from 11 personnel only to 11 and 12 personnel, allowing Jeudy to play much more than he has in recent weeks. Isaiah Bond took over as the slot receiver in 11 personnel. Bond ended up leading Cleveland in receiving, with three receptions for 74 yards. If you’re in a deeper league, Bond would be the player to pick up off the waiver wire. He played a lot on the outside in the preseason, and there is a chance his role could expand next week if Concepcion misses time. There is also a chance that Jeudy is traded sometime over the next few weeks. While it’s been Corley taking time from Jeudy, based on how well Bond played in this game, it could be Bond who becomes the Browns‘ third receiver over the rest of the season.
