Quinshon Judkins was in a walking boot after the game, while Raheim Sanders left in the fourth quarter with a hip injury.
The Browns have spent all season with Judkins the clear lead back on early downs, while Sanders has been the primary back during two-minute drills and third downs. Dylan Sampson was expected to be the passing-down back, but he’s been on injured reserve. Jaleel McLaughlin has been the third back for Cleveland. Cleveland spent the first three quarters following its usual rotation. In the fourth quarter, Sanders only managed two snaps before he was out for the game. Judkins appeared to be injured with 10 minutes left. He was able to walk off and returned, but didn’t play over the last four minutes. McLaughlin closed out the game for Cleveland. The Browns' backfield is likely one to avoid this week, as Cleveland plays the Ravens. Either one of the Browns' backs could be healthy enough to play by next week, and Sampson is eligible to return from injured reserve. Even is McLaughlin is the only one standing next week, Jaret Patterson is on the practice squad, and he and McLaughlin could split time. It’s possible someone emerges by mid-week; until then, you can leave the Browns' backs on the waiver wire.
