Henderson suffered an ankle injury early in the second quarter and didn’t return.

Heading into the game, Rhamondre Stevenson was the injured back. He was limited in practice all week with a knee injury and was deemed questionable for the game. Over the first three drives, the playing time for the two games was relatively normal, with Stevenson playing 17 snaps to 12 by Henderson before the injury. After the injury, Corey Kiner became the Patriots' second back. Henderson took 75% of the snaps from the fourth to the 10th drive. Kiner closed out the game with a run and kneel-downs. The Patriots have a favorable matchup next week against the New York Jets. If Henderson can’t play, we can expect Stevenson to see at least 70% of the offensive snaps, making him a must-start. Even if Henderson can suit up, next week should be a strong one for Stevenson.

Injury: Stevenson remained limited throughout the week and is questionable. Expected Time Missed: Day to day. Stevenson remains questionable after three limited practices with a knee injury, but the expectation is that he plays. Practicing all week is encouraging, though without a specific diagnosis, it is difficult to predict how much the injury could affect him. Knee pain can make cutting, accelerating, and driving through contact more difficult. Stevenson’s participation suggests he can tolerate some football activity, but the lack of a full practice leaves uncertainty about his workload. If active, he remains a flex option, though I would temper expectations. TreVeyon Henderson could see more work if Stevenson is limited.
