A sharp red-zone rep gave Isaiah Neyor one of the offense’s few touchdowns against the starting defense.
Neyor ran a skinny post over the middle, snatched Tyrod Taylor’s accurately placed throw out of the air and secured the score for the second unit. It was a clean finish in an area where the offense had struggled throughout practice.

Williams has shown a few encouraging flashes, but the anticipated second-year jump has not been evident through the first stage of camp. His best recent moments were a touchdown catch at Family Night and a slant over the middle that he caught before accelerating through the defense. Those plays showcased some of the upside that continues to generate positive talk around him, but his one-on-one routes have not looked good. The technical aspects of playing receiver remain a clear work in progress, and competition from Skyy Moore, Bo Melton, Isaiah Neyor and J. Michael Sturdivant has made his lack of consistent progress more noticeable.
