Williams made his best play by winning a contested red-zone catch against Kitan Oladapo.
Williams did not generate much separation, but he elevated over the coverage and secured Tyrod Taylor’s throw for a touchdown, displaying the possession-receiver ability to finish through contact. Williams was overthrown by Jordan Love on a deep crossing route during the two-minute period, although a defensive hold elsewhere still gave the offense a first down. He later caught a short out against Keisean Nixon for approximately seven yards, moving the ball to the 19-yard line with 18 seconds remaining.

Golden delivered one of the best performances of Family Night, beginning with a dominant 3-0 showing against Keisean Nixon in one-on-ones. Golden turned Nixon completely around for one completion, beat him for a touchdown with a sharp route and then raced to the back corner of the end zone for another score, using late hands to secure the catch. Nixon did not appear to have much of a chance on any of the three reps. Golden carried that success into team drills. He ran past deep safety Javon Bullard for a 52-yard touchdown, with Jordan Love placing the ball directly on him after Bullard stumbled and struggled to locate it. Golden also caught a roughly 15-yard pass along the sideline and secured another first down while getting out of bounds during the first-team two-minute drive. His routes, speed and ability to finish downfield gave the starting offense the explosive plays it had been missing.
