Tampa Bay’s defense neutralized him, and he was working through a quad injury suffered during the game. Beyond the final stat line, Lamb was also not on the field in the second half on third down when Prescott threw an interception (Lamb caught a 5-yard pass on the previous play) or on a critical fourth-and-2 that fell incomplete (Lamb ran a deep post on the previous play). Lamb checked in throughout the rest of the game, but his injury might have contributed to his reduced snaps.

Dak Prescott is playing some of the best football of his career, and the offense is humming. Despite having the fewest offensive possessions in the NFL through four games, the Cowboys are averaging 30.5 points per game and that includes Brandon Aubrey missing three field goals and an extra point!....Prescott is third in the NFL in total EPA for quarterbacks (35.39) and passing EPA (35.36). He’s fourth in the NFL in EPA/play (0.21), and all of this comes despite limited possessions (fewest in the league) and no real run game to lean on....With softer defenses still on the schedule in October (Buccaneers, Packers), the Cowboys have a chance to really put up the points.
