SageSurratt

Ken McKusick·Aug 4

Sarratt showed polished receiving instincts on a 30-yard completion from Lamar Jackson during one-on-one work.

Chandler Rivers stayed in tight hip-pocket coverage, but Sarratt waited until the last moment to raise his hands. Because Rivers had not located the football, that late hand movement prevented him from reacting in time, and the pass dropped directly to Surratt for the catch. The rep showed Sarratt could finish against close coverage without giving the defender an early cue.
