At least for a few weeks, as Jackson is out this week and he could very well be out next week too, and Snoop Huntley, when it comes to
pushing the ball downfield, has almost nothing in common with Jackson’s intent and acumen. Flowers has been in motion 27% of the time this season. He won’t be latching on to deep balls. Putting him in motion before he catches a bubble screen seems to be something they should lean into. Making the defense at least wonder about a jet sweep or end around can’t hurt. Flowers has been particularly devastating in the slot this season, where he’s been for 60% of his reps, nearly doubling his career average.

Minter ruled out Jackson on Friday after he did not practice all week. Minter did not specify a timeline for when Jackson would return but said the team has "a ton of confidence in 'Snoop' to play really well." "The system of our offense and what we do does not have to change a whole lot," coach Jesse Minter said Wednesday. "A lot of the plays, especially whether it's when we are under center and running a lot of those types of things, Snoop can do all that. He can make a lot of those same plays. Obviously, Lamar's magic is what it is." Huntley, who was a high school rival of Jackson's in South Florida, isn't as explosive or quick. But he has enough speed and mobility to make teams respect his running ability.
