But I think [Bell's] had enough practice time where he he hasn't been injured for a while.
He's starting to get in the flow of things a bit more, working with Josh Allen a little bit more. And I think this is the week that he will be game day active if I had to guess right now. ... And it would just even be strengthened in that case if Joshua Palmer, who popped up on the injury report on Friday as a limited participant with a shoulder injury, if he is unable to go, that just means definitely put it in permanent marker, Skyler Bell is going to be in the lineup. But even if Palmer plays, I think Bell is in and will make his rookie debut on Monday against the Los Angeles Rams. Bills HC Joe Brady: "Skyler (Bell) is going to be up" on game day Monday. Bills injury designations vs. Rams, per HC Joe Brady: OUT: WR Joshua Palmer, DL Ed Oliver QUESTIONABLE: WR DJ Moore, NCB Dee Alford, DL Landon Jackson

Allen is under the microscope given his recent turnover issues. Bills fans hope he isn't hurt and that he's simply been struggling with decisions. Allen has demonstrated an ability to snap out of the latter. And although he hasn't appeared on the injury report yet, he gets knocked around a lot. Allen appeared less eager to run last week against the Patriots, and he bent his right thumb awkwardly on a throw when his follow-through smacked into defensive lineman Milton Williams in the third quarter. Whatever is causing his recent issues, Allen must play better for Buffalo to avoid back-to-back losses. When I watched the Patriots game film, it almost looked like Allen programmed himself to minimize hits whenever possible. Taking a knee on a quarterback sweep when the rushing lane wasn't there seemed like an indication that he was focused on limiting hits. Yeah, what's the deal with that? Allen has done that twice this year. No slide, just taking a knee to give up on a play.
