What I think it will take for the offense to become more consistent is Jordan Mason coming back and Murray getting on the same page with
his receivers. No magic formula.

Injury: Knee injury Expected Time Missed: Expected to play Week 3. No final injury designation. Jones will play in Week 3, but he has been highly limited in practice this week due to a knee injury. Limited practice time has become fairly normal for Jones at this point in his career, so that alone isn't overly concerning. More importantly, he was able to progress to a full practice Friday and carries no injury designation, giving me confidence that he will operate as Minnesota's primary ball carrier with Jordan Mason still sidelined. Minnesota has not provided specifics on Jones' knee injury, which makes projecting his performance more difficult. However, our running back injury data shows significant declines in fantasy production following knee injuries: an average 21% decline following MCL sprains, more than a 60% decline following non-specific knee injuries, and more than a 35% decline following PCL sprains. Jones can always salvage his fantasy day by finding the end zone, and his expected workload keeps him firmly in the fantasy conversation. However, given the uncertainty surrounding the knee and the historical performance trends for running backs returning from knee injuries, I wouldn't expect a huge game in his first week back.
