Jalen Nailor was inactive for this game due to a concussion.
The Raiders started the season with Nailor as their X receiver, Tre Tucker at Z and Jack Bech in the slot. Bech is currently on injured reserve, which meant Tucker was the only usual starter who was healthy. Las Vegas made a unique decision to use one wide receiver with Tucker in 12 personnel, and a different two receivers in 11 personnel. Cody White was the other outside receiver in 12 personnel. Rookie Malik Benson took that role in 11 personnel, while Deven Thompkins, who was elevated off the practice squad, was the slot. The Raiders stuck with 12 personnel for most of the game, similar to last week. It wasn’t until garbage time that Las Vegas switched to using more 11 personnel. It’s been difficult to rely on any Raiders wide receiver this season outside of Tucker, and that is going to be even more true now if the team continues this kind of assortment. Nailor wasn’t effective in the Raiders' first four weeks, so it’s possible he will be joining this kind of rotation once he’s back.
