News Summary for Combine Day 1, Feb 27

The NFL Combine is here! The week has kicked off with press conferences from team top brass and there were many bits of information that are hinting at what the upcoming NFL Draft and Free Agency have in store for these teams. Especially interesting were comments from Bears GM Ryan Poles, HC of the Panthers, Dave Canales, and New England Patriots acting GM, Eliot Wolf.

Chicago Bears

Ryan Poles presser notes:\n
- Poles went through everything from “doing right by Justin (Fields)” to having to “think longer term” than the locker room. Reads like Fields is getting traded soon.
- Not settled on which QB they like the best
- Also said there’s “two types of QBs: Artists and Surgeons”
- When would Poles like to know which path the Bears are going to take at QB? “Tommorow”
- Ryan Poles on whether he has any concern about Caleb Williams/his representation not wanting the USC QB to play in Chicago: \"No. No. No concerns about that at all. I would love to know why, if that was the case. Like I said, I think as a young quarterback, and I’ve been around it, the infrastructure is important, and I think we’ve made really good progress in terms of having really good infrastructure for whoever were to come in or if Justin were to stay here as well.\"

HC Matt Eberflus on Roschon Johnson as a potential lead back: \"I love Roschon...\"
