A great salesman who has good body language during the routes. He throttles his speed at release He has shown split releases and foot fires to work back across the DBs face. Nuanced in threatening different angles during the route. Consistent in attacking the DB’s protected shoulder, depending on the leverage. Understands basic concepts, such as selling the vertical route and working towards a DB’s blind side. Sinks hips really well despite his large stature and allows him to run crisp sluggo routes. Has good timing on jump balls, but doesn’t seem like he has much leaping ability. He’s far better on back-shoulder throws. Played out wide at Baylor but could be a big slot in the NFL. Looks like a running back on the field.
He could’ve had a more productive year had his QB been of better quality (Couldn’t fit in NFL windows, and accuracy wasn’t good). Generally, didn’t see the field well and played too conservatively. Can be used as an extension of the run game, given his size.Ball security issues during the Arizona St. game, lost two fumbles, and nearly another as he hit the ground.
