Day 2 at the Senior Bowl was characterized by the defenses winning and the offenses losing. There were definitely some highlight plays for the offense, but even the more consistent QBs from Day 1 were not having a great day today which led to a lack of overall production from the offenses, particularly in 11v11. Some of the RBs and WRs found a way to make some splashes despite this, but there were a lot of misses and a lot of sacks, stuffs, and knockdowns from the defensive teams.
WRs
Roman Wilson had by FAR the most impressive play of the day. During a 1:1 period Wilson had an out route where he stumbled on the break, but recovered and made what seemed like an almost impossible grab on a ball high and outside by Penix. Can’t fault Penix too much as Wilson probably was a bit short on the route with the trip, but it made for a great opportunity for Wilson to show off some crazy concentration and adjustment skills. It was downright impressive. He was also finding separation the entirety of practice in every other situation.
